A Daughter’s Love
I recently had the pleasuring of befriending a wonderful human being/ major mogul in the natural beauty world, Britta Aragon, founder of CV Skin Labs.
As soon as we met I was captivated by her passion and got super riled up by her mission to help people with a whole host of skin ailments. As someone who struggled with acne for over a decade I became acutely aware of everything I put on my skin.
Even after my acne went away (thanks to some major dietary changes) I continued to be meticulous about my skin care choices because YOUR SKIN IS YOUR LARGEST ORGAN and it is insane how easily environmental toxins creep into your body and cause major hormone disruptions or even illnesses.
Think about that. I did. I no longer put anything on my skin that I couldn’t put in my mouth. When I first make the connection I literally lived on the Environmental Working Group‘s website to check every product I used on my body and in my home.
Most conventional skin care products (even the super expensive, fancy ones) are full of chemicals that can irritate the skin and be toxic to the body. So if you are suffering from some sort of skin ailment (whether it be chronic psoriasis, acne or a simple kitchen burn) you know how prohibitive it can be and I urge you to take a look at what you are using on your body, it might be exacerbating the issue.
Britta’s story shows the power of the heart and mind. After her father was diagnosed with cancer his skin became incredibly sensitive and all the lotions that were supposed to soothe him only added to his discomfort. She created CV Skinlabs to make sure that others did not have to suffer the way her father did while going through his treatments.
When we first spoke about the products she referred to them at the “Salt & Pepper of your routine”, which, Hi, food metaphors get me every time, so I had to try them for myself. They are, simply, above and beyond words.
Everything in them is completely natural, organic and soothing to body. She takes all the ancient herbal wisdom from around the world and combined it in one, perfect product line.
She is on a mission to help as many people as possible and has created this campaign to get into every hospital and cancer treatment center in North America.
I urge you to please take a few minutes to watch this video and donate anything that you can. Just $10 will help Britta on her mission to soothe millions of people who are unnecessarily suffering. And if you feel moved, please share this video with your friends too.
Thank you, and on behalf of Britta and her family, we really appreciate your help and support.
